Job Description: Art Director (Partner Marketing)
In the enterprise space, Adobe is a leader in marketing and customer experience technology, helping businesses of all sizes adapt to the ever-changing expectations of the market. We’re looking for an Art Director on the Aquent Studios team to support a highly creative Adobe team to design and produce a wide range of deliverables (web, email, banners, guidelines, event and environmental assets, high-level image making, graphic design). Artistic sensibilities, technical proficiency, clear communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. Illustration and motion design skills are a huge plus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with CDs and Designers to maintain the aesthetic of the brand and ensure all materials are designed and produced accordingly
- Taking conceptual direction from CDs to create mockups and execute for final delivery
- Maintaining awareness of industry trends, incorporate new techniques, and informs others
- Proactively anticipating issues, suggesting solutions, and thinking of the big picture
- Managing multiple projects and meeting all deadlines while working collaboratively within a fast paced, reiterative environment
What you need to succeed:
- Ability to create high quality assets: an eye for detail with a sophisticated, bold and expressive aesthetic
- Passion for design, pride in your craft, and desire to take the work even further
- Knowledge of design elements (color, typography, and composition) is essential
- Experience working with design systems
- Keen understanding/awareness of brand appropriate aesthetic, culture and audience when creating assets
- Ability to quickly grasp and appropriately translate client brand guidelines
- Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process
- Ability to work collaboratively within fast paced timelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and process
- Confident, articulate presentation skills to effectively deliver creative and explain the rationale behind design decisions
- Knowledge of video or animation tools is a big plus. A general interest in computers and an aptitude for learning new technology are vital.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working in an in-house creative team or agency
- A well-rounded portfolio showcasing a solid design aesthetic, artistic sensibilities and skills
- Ability to work in all facets of digital spaces and screens
- Graphic design, high-level image making
- Brand system design experience
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Motion graphics/animation skills a huge plus (After Effects)
- Any added skills such as photography or illustration another big plus

Studios is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to help support our team working on innovative projects for the technology (software engineering) arm of one of our top manufacturing clients. The Engagement Manager will be primarily responsible for the efficient management of the client’s Managed Service Provider program and will share key account management duties, including ongoing business development and customer success.
Recruiting Management Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the client’s Managed Service Provider, including utilizing the SAP Fieldglass system to acknowledge requisitions and work with Studios Recruiting to manage the candidate recruitment process
- Responsible for technically vetting the candidates based on the job description
- Lead the recruiting process for new roles and work with Studios recruiting to identify and attract candidates that will thrive within our client’s environment
- Work with clients and/or Aquent Managers to drive intake calls and manage the interview process
- Manage and ensure a healthy candidate pipeline for recurrent roles in support of time-sensitive positions
- Support closing of candidates through the interview process including preparing candidates for client interviews
- Lead pre-start onboarding orientation with new hires, immigration, assist with tech set-up and onboarding check-ins specific to client’s onboarding documentation
- Responsible for managing Recruiting scorecard based on Studios performance metrics
Account Management Responsibilities:
- Support employee engagement processes with ongoing check-in conversations to ensure both client and employee needs are being met
- Develop, document, and improve internal processes for client compliance and record-keeping
- Ability to commute onsite to client facilities to lead and support in-person business meetings, as required
- Represent Studios on the vendor management review meetings and candidate intake/spotlight meetings
- Grow the business on an annualized basis by aligning to the Studios Performance Recruiting metrics (aka Managed Service Provider Scorecard KPIs)
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required for success in this role:
- Prior history with some aspect of Web/Mobile application development and/or technical recruiting
- Successful track record in client services: understands the client’s business with exceptional customer focus
- Experience in using vendor management systems
- Responsive, deadline-driven, and works with a high sense of urgency
- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace (especially Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and Docs)
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and groups
- Proficiency in analyzing data, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility in adapting to new tools and processes
Location
- Chicago (IL), or Rock Island (IL)/Moline (IL)/Davenport (IA)/Bettendorf (IA) area, with the ability to commute onsite to client facilities regularly
- Expected to work supporting Central Time Zone (core business hours are 8am -5pm)

Dedicated to Aquent Studios, this position will establish successful account leadership and creative management across the organization in support of a large global manufacturing company.
The Creative Director will be a dynamic leader and problem solver who understands creative initiatives and can provide excellent strategic leadership across print, digital and video channels.
They will also lead and direct the activities of their team to maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while solving the client’s creative needs. Additionally, the Creative Director will inspire confidence, manage and mentor creative talent to grow and do the best work of their careers.
He/She/They will partner closely with Aquent/Client leadership team leadership team(s) to understand client marketing strategies, and communication objectives across all levels of
creative deliverables.
The Creative Director will ensure that the client’s vision is created and executed on time and on budget with the assistance of the Account Team. The Creative Director will manage the creative people, processes, and technology that make it happen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to both client and creative teams to ensure accurate execution on creative assets
- Provide direction to the team throughout the creative process to ensure the work delivers on strategy; determine the effectiveness of the work after it has been activated; and use the learnings to make the necessary adjustments and improvements to the work
- Partner with Project Management team(s) to develop budgets and managing the profitability and timeliness of each project
- Maintain a close and positive relationship with the client and work with the account team to grow the business when opportunities arise
- Leads, inspires, and provides direction to a creative team. Mentors the team and is responsible for the teams’ development and growth.
- Build long term, trusting relationships with business and creative partners – both internal and external
- Work closely with Account Lead to oversee financial performance and adherence to budgets
- Produce reports or analyze data to spot industry or competitor trends that will affect (or impact) the creative goal or vision
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure creative goals stay on track
- Review or assist in developing new initiatives
- Facilitate creative project kickoffs
- Lead brainstorming sessions with creative teams and key client stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 8-10+ yrs experience as Managing or Creative Director
- Previous experience in driving client engagement from high-level strategy to project management details (ie; time management, deadlines, meetings, budget, etc.)
- Motivated team leader that understands the nuances of creative team development and execution
- Hands on experience developing and presenting creative concepts
- Excels at turning complex processes into dynamic visuals
- Hands on experience in developing strategic creative plans
- Analytical and insightful attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the creative market
- Familiarity with creative strategy, development and general processes from concept to launch
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

- Degree in visual communications design or comparable
Compensation Range: $120-130K
