Melitta Baumeister is a New York based brand founded by German designer Melitta Baumeister and visual artist Paul Jung in 2013, which focuses on new materiality and form as its core process. Baumeister received a MFA degree in Fashion Design and Society at Parsons in 2013, with the graduation collection shown in NYFW, where she met Jung, who graduated from the MFA program at School of Visual Arts for Fashion Photography. Melitta Baumeister presented the first collection in Fall 2014, supported by VFiles in NYC, after which the collections has been carried by Dover Street Market. The brand was selected for the 2015 Vogue Talents in Dubai, and in 2016 the Melitta Baumeister collection is part of Cooper Hewitt’s Triennial exhibition.
Based out of Brooklyn, NY, Mila Sullivan is a ready to wear line founded and run by Mila Sullivan out of her Williamsburg studio. She creates one of a kind pieces through deconstructing vintage home goods and textiles, reinterpreting them through modern silhouettes. Her work begins with sifting through piles of materials at thrift stores trying to find the items that speak to her, that feel unique, or have a history behind them. Every piece is hand produced by Mila with a heavy concentration on draping on the form to find the beauty in ordinary and unusual materials. Working with vintage and unique materials means each piece created is truly one of a kind and unable to be replicated and mass produced. Mila feels she makes clothes for the most fun and theatrical parts of life.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Tanner Fletcher is an emerging genderless brand specializing in ready to wear, handbags, home and jewelry that push the boundaries between masculinity and femininity. We bring a modern lens to past eras of interior design and fashion to form a type of style that is more suited for the twenty-first century. Home and wardrobe are more connected than one may think and we design to bridge the gap between the two. Most importantly we founded Tanner Fletcher to create necessary change in the world when it comes to wardrobe. Personally, we have always shopped in a label free way by purchasing whatever we feel suits our personal style without taking into consideration whether it is men’s or women’s. We are setting out not to create a new shopping category altogether but to remove current and past gender labels associated with dressing that tend to put people in an invisible box with rules that don’t work with the freedom of our modern societies. Tanner Fletcher is an ongoing evolution of a person’s style and vision combined with the highest quality of materials, new and found. We strongly feel that a person should surround themselves with pieces they love and are inspired by, without unnecessary labels.
