Job Description
An NYU graduate student film titled Resident Dreams is casting actors for several key roles in a character-driven story set at an upstate artists’ retreat. The film explores creative identity, relationships, and the personal struggles artists face while seeking validation and purpose. This project offers performers the opportunity to collaborate on an independent narrative film with a creative student production team.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a lead or supporting character in a narrative student film

• Deliver emotionally grounded and authentic performances

• Collaborate with the director and fellow actors during filming

• Participate in scheduled scenes during the production period

• Maintain professionalism and focus on set throughout filming

Requirements

• Actors ages 25 and older depending on role

• Open to all ethnicities

• Strong acting ability with natural on-camera presence

• Ability to portray creative professionals at an artists’ retreat

• Must be available to film in Woodstock, New York

Compensation

• Meals provided during filming
