Casting Alert! Okay, awesome people! Searching for MALE and FEMALE, 20’s to 40’s, all ethnicities. We are shooting a CHURCH SCENE on Chicago Fire and we can use the parishioners who already worked plus new parishioners.

 This is our exciting church shoot. You must be available on Wed., Oct. 13th and Thurs., Oct. 14th, and attend a Covid test (takes about one hour) on Monday, Oct. 11th.

  • Casting Alert! Searching for a BALD (clean shaven head) MALE, WITH BEARD, AND MUSTACHE, BROWNISH, 6′ TO 6’4″, 170 TO 195. (or no beard and mustache – and you will need to wear a beard/mustache). 

This is for a photodouble, non-speaking role, (same height and coloring as actor to use in place of actor for insert and far away shots), that shoots on Monday, Oct. 4th for Chicago Fire. You will need to take a Covid test on Friday, Oct. 1st. (takes about one hour).

Waldron Casting is seeking NONUNION actors for background work on Larry’s Diner to portray UPSCALE Chic gala guests in Black tie attire. Men would need a black tie suit or black tuxedo and women floor length gowns.

Please note that Larry’s Diner is a Zone A vaccination mandated production and that proof of vaccination will be required to be cast on the project. You will be required to provide proof of the vaccination to the production’s health and safety officer as a condition of employment.

It would involve Covid-19 tests on:

  • -Monday October 4th in Brooklyn NY
  • -Tuesday October 5th in Brooklyn NY

**Must attend ALL tests and you will be paid $50 for each**

Then it would involve the work on:

  • -Wednesday October 6th at a TBD in New York

*Would be paid the NON-UNION background rate of $165 for up to 10 hours of work then overtime after that**

You would be required to follow covid-19 protocol and wear a mask at all times and follow social distancing. You would be wearing a KN95 mask. You would only be able to take it off while cameras are rolling per SAG/AFTRA protocol.

The HBO Max Limited Series Staircase has implemented a new vaccination mandate effective as of 9/23/21. The Prison extras will play an integral role in the series as they are featured in multiple episodes and will be required to work multiple dates during the filming of the series in October 2021.

 

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Staircase:
-Please be advised that, effective 9/23/21, prior to working on STAIRCASE, all background cast must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks have elapsed since receiving the 2nd dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or since receiving a single shot of Johnson & Johnson).
-You must be able to show proof of vaccination status prior to your start date. All vaccination records will be maintained confidentially and securely by production.
-If you are offered employment on STAIRCASE and would like to request an accommodation to this policy due to medical or religious reasons, you must submit your request for approval via WarnerMedia’s Xempt portal.

-“Pops Inmate” – Caucasian male, ages 60+. This role is described as a “half-blind, toothless, ghost of a man.”
-Male and Female Correction’s Officer Extras

-Please note, you will be considered for any of the above roles.
-This recurring role will require professionalism, some acting experience, and a flexible schedule to commit for the duration of filming. Your appearance may also be altered for this role i.e. haircut, facial hair cut, head shaved, fake tattoos applied, etc. The Director and Producers of the series only wants to consider those individuals that are fully available and open to any potential changes to your appearance.

Hotel Quarantine:
-Extras booked to work in these scenes will be required to sequester in a hotel for 3 nights before they are scheduled to work.
-Extras should be prepared to sequester for the following period: Friday, 10/1/21 – Friday, 10/8/21. You would check out of the hotel on Friday, 10/8/21 and return for 1 final filming date on Monday, 10/11/21. Since the scenes filming on 10/11/21 are exterior scenes, you will not need to be sequestered prior to that filming date.
-The hotel accommodations would be provided by the production. You will not have to pay for the hotel or parking.
-Extras will receive a quarantine bump of $232 each day + $53.50 per diem each day that they are sequestered. This bump and per diem will be applied to an extras voucher. You would receive payment 2-3 weeks from the date.
-You will be responsible for paying for your 3 meals a day since your per diem will not be added until you work. The per diem is provided based on the following breakdown of meals – Breakfast = $9.50, Lunch = $14, Dinner = $30. This will not be cash, but will be applied to your extras voucher on the date that you work. You would be responsible for ordering and paying for your own food during your quarantine. This can include delivery from a restaurant or a food app. You must eat in your room and not in the restaurant or bar area.
-You must quarantine alone in your room and not leave. There will be no visitors allowed including other quarantined extras. No use of the hotel gym, pool, or spa.
-You must quarantine in the hotel. Extras will not be permitted to quarantine at home. This will be required regardless of your vaccination status.
-COVID-19 testing will be required daily at the hotel.
-Transportation will not be provided by the production. You are responsible for providing your own transportation to the hotel and to set.
-You may be required to attend a wardrobe fitting for this role during your sequester period. You must bring all necessities with you to the hotel.
-Please only submit if you have open flexibility.

 

COVID-19 Testing:
-If you are selected for this extra role, you must be willing to quarantine for a minimum of 3 days prior to shoot date, quarantine at a hotel in a production “bubble” before and during the shoot, and submit to testing cadence before and during the shoot, which may include multiple COVID-19 tests prior to shoot.
-You will also be required to COVID-19 test at the production’s facility in Atlanta, GA the day before the sequester period begins (Thursday, 9/30/21). You will receive a quarter check rate testing bump for this test.
-The test performed is a Covid-19 PCR (nasal swab) Test.
-While at the test facility and on set, PPE must be worn.
-All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.
-You may not provide test results from another outside source. You MUST be tested by the STAIRCASE Health and Safety team.

 

 
Rate if Hired:
-Quarantine:  You will receive a quarantine bump of $232 each day + $53.50 per diem each day that you are sequestered.
-Background performer services:  $104/8 hrs ($13/hour, you are guaranteed 8 hours, with applicable overtime)
-You will only receive the $104/8 rate on the dates that you work on set as an extra. You may not be required to work all filming dates.
-COVID-19 testing bump: You will receive the COVID-19 testing bump of a quarter check rate for testing on Thursday, 9/30/21.

 

Call Time:

-You must be available for a 12 hour filming day or longer on set each day that you are booked to work.
-Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please do not submit if you do not have open availability for the time frame listed above.

 

Tattoos:
-The production is requesting that you send all photos of any tattoos that you may have. On the form below, please attached the photos of your tattoos.
-The production may also apply fake tattoos to some Core Prisoners that work. There is the possibility that some of the fake tattoos may be offensive content.

 

Hair:
-The production may want to cut your hair or facial hair for this role, including potentially shaving your head. Please select on the form below if you are open to having your hair cut, facial hair cut, or head shaved.
