Pay rates:

$150.00/day plus agency fee if represented (would likely work 1/2 day on one or both dates)

Casting Alert! Searching for FEMALES, Asian, African American, and Latina, 20’s to 40’s, to play a Courier on Friday, Feb. 11th. There is a covid test on Monday, Feb. 7th. There is a possible Covid test and fitting on Wednesday, Feb. 9th.

• For the health and safety of all individuals on “Chicago MED,”  all “Zone A” cast and crew must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to beginning work. You  must have had two shots two weeks prior to today’s date.

Rate of Pay:  **PAID CASH AT WRAP**

• $75.00 for up to 8 hour day (overtime will be paid after 8 hours if you are required to work more than 8 hours. You should plan for a 10-12 hour day just to be on the safe side! Covid Tests are NOT paid but should only take a few minutes)

We do not yet have Call/Wrap Times, so you MUST have full day available to allow for whatever the call/wrap times end up being.

Background Roles:

• ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS – Male and Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 9-11 years old. Parent or Guardian MUST be on set at all times with child and must also covid test or provide test results
• HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS – Male and Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 15-19 years old. If under 18, Parent or Guardian MUST be on set at all times with child and must also covid test or provide test results
• ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER – Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 25-55, conservative, professional

This production is requiring all cast & crew to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to be considered for work you MUST FALL INTO EITHER OF THE TWO FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: (1) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) or (2) have a disability or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination.

As a condition of working on set, you are required to get a paid Covid-19 test at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date(s). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. The COVID test MUST be completed 48 hours prior to your first work date.

While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn. All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.

• Kira is taking submissions for a show seeking background to portray 30-50 year olds who can comfortably flip an egg in a pan. Covid test MONDAY 1/31, work WEDNESDAY 2/2 in San Pedro. 

NOTE:

This production is requiring all cast & crew, including background actors, to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to be considered for work you MUST FALL INTO EITHER OF THE TWO FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: (1) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (meaning more than 14 days have passed since you received both the initial and second shot of Pfizer or Moderna, or since you received the single shot of Johnson & Johnson) or (2) have a disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination. 

Failure to provide satisfactory evidence will result in your not being hired for the project and/or turned away from set (as though no offer of work was given). In such case, you will NOT be eligible for payment because you were not employed/hired. The production, not Central Casting, will collect your evidence; thus, do NOT send your evidence to Central Casting.

Regardless of vaccination, you must still test negative for COVID-19 on one or more tests to be arranged by production prior to the first production work date.

There will be a Covid test on Friday, Feb. 4th (takes about an hour). Possible fitting for staff.
