LOCATION: COASTAL GEORGIA (Jekyll Island, Brunswick, St Simons, Savannah) — Looking for LOCAL area people or those willing/able to SELF-TRAVEL to this area to work as LOCAL HIRE (no gas bump, no accommodation)

**THIS IS A FULLY VACCINATED SET – All Crew, Standins and Background working this project MUST be Covid VACCINATED + Booster(s). Covid Testing is still required**

  • Filming – Friday 3/25/22 (JEKYLL ISLAND)
• Covid Retest – Wednesday 3/30/22 (either Savannah or St. Simons)
  • Filming – Friday 4/1/22 (JEKYLL ISLAND)

Pay RATES: 

• Filming dates $110.00/10 hours and overtime if applicable (very likely)
• Covid tests & Fittings : $27.50/2 hours

ROLES CASTING:

• TOWNSPEOPLE KIDS – Male and Female, Black, age range 7-15, variety of types, NO locs/braids/twists, kids do not need to be vaccinated but it is helpful!, parent or guardian MUST be on set at all times with child and be fully covid vaccinated. MUST have a GDOL# or be able to get one quickly before filming dates (we can help you with this process)

Role: “40 Under 40” Event Staff & Attendees

We’re looking for MEN AND WOMEN 18+ able to portray CAUCASIAN, HISPANIC/LATINX, or EAST ASIAN for a “40 Under 40” event!

Monarch has a mandatory vaccination policy for all Zone A workers, including Background Actors, Stand-Ins, and other talent ages 5 and above working on its set.  To be eligible to work on this production, you must be (1) either (a) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine AND received a “Booster” if you are eligible for a Booster according to CDC guidelines (click here to check if you are eligible for Booster) (Also: if you received the AstraZeneca and Novavax vaccines, then three doses of any combination of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, or Novavax vaccines would deem you Boosted) or (b) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine but not yet Booster-eligible; or (2) have a medical disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination.  Any offer of work is “conditioned” on you providing adequate proof to Production that you meet the criteria mentioned above.  If you are unable to show adequate proof to Production, then you are ineligible to be hired for this Production.   

If you answer “yes” to this message, then you are hereby attesting to the fact that you can and will provide such adequate proof to Production.  If you are selected, Production will collect and verify your proof.

As a condition of working on set, you are required to get a paid Covid-19 test at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date(s). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. The COVID test MUST be completed 48 hours prior to your first work date.

While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn. All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.

ROLES CASTING:

• WAITERS & BUS BOY with CAR – Male, all ethnicities, age range 20-45, conservative, professional, should have some previous Wait Staff/Server experience so you know how to carry a tray of food/drinks. MUST also have a vehicle that is not red or white that can be used in the scene. 
• BARTENDER with CAR – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 21-50, conservative, professional, should have some previous Bartender experience so you look like you know what you’re doing behind a bar. MUST also have a vehicle that is not red or white that can be used in the scene

The Young Wife comes from writer and director Tayarisha Poe (Selah and the Spades). It follows Celestina, 29, on the day of her first wedding. Or not a wedding, exactly, but a party. A party where there’s movement, and Celestina is out of sync. The guests flood in; a storm approaches.
