CASTING CALL: MEALS – CHILD-PARENT DUOS NEEDED

Project Description: We are casting child-parent duos for an exciting new spot for a meal prep company. This project will showcase real kids aged 6-12 and their parents or legal guardian trying out delicious meals on camera. We want to hear from you if you and your child are enthusiastic about food and enjoy sharing your genuine reactions!

Job Responsibilities:

• On-camera meal tasting: Kids will be asked to try a selection of meals while being filmed.
• Showcase genuine reactions: The goal is to capture authentic and positive responses to the meals.
• Short video shoot: The child and parent/guardian will be required to participate in a video shoot.

Requirements:

• Child: Must be between the ages of 6 and 12.
• Parent/Guardian: Only one parent or legal guardian may apply per child.
• Allergies: Parents must disclose any food allergies the child may have on the application form.

Location: Toronto

Compensation Details:

• Children:

  • Session fee: $400
  • Usage fee: $1000 (if footage appears in the final edit)

• Adults:

  • Session fee: $400
  • Usage fee: $500 (if footage appears in the final edit)

Usage:

• The project will be used digitally, in print, and on social media platforms for one year.

Note: This is a non-union casting call.

A confident singer/pop artist or musician 25-45 yrs who effortlessly captivates audiences with their exceptional talent. All genders and ethnicities. The performer must showcase their star power and unique personal style (costume, movement/dance, and stage presence). A real performer is encouraged to submit. Note: Talent will not be truly performing on camera; it will just be mimicking that of a star on stage.

Previous on-set experience is not necessary. This is a non-union project.

Families of 3-4 members or with a Grandparent 65-75 yrs are encouraged to submit. Parents 30-45 yrs and Child 6-12 yrs. Must be comfortable with the outdoors. A camping scene/family road trip will be captured.

Seeking Kids who can ride a Hoverboard for a Juice Campaign in Toronto!

We are looking for kids ages 11 to 15 who can confidently ride a hoverboard. He or she might own one or have experience riding one. We will need to see them do this in the audition.

Compensation based on per person rate. If selected:

Wardrobe: $75.00/2hrs.

Session fee: $500.00.

Buyout Fee: $1500.00.

Buyout includes all lifts, edits, versions and is based on survival of the edit.

We’re seeking Asian individuals, couples, and families (including with a grandparent/grandparents) in the GTA for a fun commercial!

PLEASE NOTE:

• This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required. However, you should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed.
• To apply, you MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• To participate, you MUST be able to film in Toronto.
• If shortlisted, you MUST be available for an in-person interview with the director on July 10th or 11th (TBC)
• If selected, you MUST be available for a wardrobe appointment on July 19th or 20th (TBC). You will only be required to briefly (about 2 hours).
• If selected, you MUST be available for filming between July 21-24th (TBC). You will only be required for one day of filming.
• If booked, you will each receive $75 for a wardrobe appointment and $500 for one day of filming. If your footage is in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $5,325- $7,825 for its use.

We’re looking for individuals aged 25 to 35 who are comfortable sharing their life experiences, inner thoughts, and the stories they’ve created to share with others.

This is an artistic, social good project for a well-being insights company that focuses on a person and the stories they tell that shape how they see the world.

Shoot Date: Thursday, July 20th, 2023

Rate: $2000 per individual, if selected. A compensation of $1000 will be provided if the production team decides to film in the talent’s home.
