Job Description
An exciting feature film is casting diverse talent for speaking roles in an upcoming production filming locally and internationally. The project is seeking Okanagan-based Black and Latino actors to bring authenticity and depth to a range of compelling characters across different age groups.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform scripted speaking roles in a feature film
- Collaborate with directors and production team to develop characters
- Attend rehearsals and filming as required
- Deliver authentic and engaging on-screen performances
Requirements
- Black and Latino actors based in the Okanagan region
- Young girl (approx. 12 years old, able to portray 10)
- Teen girl (16+ able to portray 15)
- Mother figure (mid 60s, able to portray late 50s to early 80s)
- Father figure (50s)
- Male actor (20s–50s) who speaks Spanish
- Strong acting ability and comfort with speaking roles
- Union actors encouraged; non-union talent also welcome
Compensation
- Paid speaking roles (rate based on role and experience)
- Opportunity to work on an international feature film

Compensation:
- BC Indie contract.
- Scale minus 35% with a 25% buyout.
