Native French Canadian speakers required for voice over work at our London based recording studio.
No previous voice over experience is required but candidates must have a good, clear, strong voice and be able to read fluently from a script.
Most of the jobs that come through to us are for e-Learning programs, but we have many for audio books, short films and documentaries, Youtube, online adverts and those projects have a much bigger budget than stated above, but we’ll discuss that on a case by case regarding usage rights.

Role Overview
Salt Studios, Salt’s in house production company is looking for a Post Production Lead (Producer/Editor) to manage our growing stable of productions. As our Post Production lead (Producer/Editor) you will contribute daily to help keep our growing department deliveries on track: managing post production projects, leading post production workflow, editing on small and medium sized projects, with occasional on set production management and production specific project management.
We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, hardworking and creative team player who can thrive while helping to create everything from nimble content to collaborating on large scale broadcast TV productions. This candidate will be required to have extensive organizational, editing and production focused experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee post production on internal studio projects
- Organization and project management of assigned productions with external editors
- Editing and project management of assigned productions
- Occasional on set production related project management
- Organization and archiving of Salt Project drives, files, footage and working files
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 4+ years working as an Editor or Producer
- Deep and Functional experience with Adobe Premiere, After effects and DAM services
- Strong editing, organizational and project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast moving environment.
- Production & project management experience.
- Direct production experience in digital, broadcast or agency
- Strong understanding of the production process: Video, Photo and Motion Graphic
- Strong knowledge of major platforms their best practices
- Experience with platform native content creation and production

Job Description
The Executive Producer’s primary role is to act as an intermediary between the client and the Production Team on all awarded opportunities, ensuring that the client’s artistic and technical requirements are met, that any changes or additional direction is clearly communicated to the production team, all while representing the interests of Rodeo FX.
Responsible for the management of various production teams, they will oversee the production from start to finish and work to ensure respect of timelines, budgets, payment, and project delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for all awarded projects from start to finish, overseeing all aspects of creation and production, ensuring that the client’s vision and requirements are being respected by the Production and VFX team and maintaining regular communication with the production team;
- Communicate all key information to Producers and VFX Supervisors to maintain the profitability and creative vision of awarded projects such as schedules, bidding history, delivery expectations, creative expectations and any other work done during the bidding process;
- Oversee the assignment of key talent to projects, ensuring the right mix of skills and experience to meet the project requirements;
- Act as a liaison with the client throughout the life of the project, communicating any modifications to the project team on a timely basis. Communicate with clients on any major financial, scheduling or other matters, working to maintain a positive relationship. Negotiate major changes with clients, including changes to schedules, scope of work, etc;
- Ensure each project has clear objectives, set performance indicators and milestones. Monitor project performance, including respect of set timelines, resource allocation, approval of overtime and ensure that projects meet Rodeo FX’s high-quality standards. Discuss any discrepancies or issues with the relevant team, seeking solutions to keep the project on time and within budget;
- Oversee project invoicing, ensuring it is done in adherence with the client contract and monitor that revenue and gross margins meets expectations. Monitor collections, advising Senior Management of any issues.
- In collaboration with the VFX Supervisor and Business Development, participate in the evaluation of costs and bidding for potential projects;
- Review results of mid and post-mortem meetings and assessments, as well as any recommendations on improvements needed. Participate in improvement projects, as needed;
- Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement, make recommendations of best practices, design processes to increase efficiency and ensure implementation.
- Mentor VFX Producers by providing training and sharing their knowledge of production management, client relations, business development and any other matter that can help them develop their skills. Communicate any recurring training needs to the Head of Department;
- Review the performance of their production team and ensure that they receive feedback on a regular basis through the mid and post mortem process. Conduct annual performance reviews and make recommendations for salary reviews;
- In conjunction with Department Managers, responsible for the management of performance of their production team including deciding on promotions (levels and/or positions), disciplinary or performance issues, and terminations.
- Actively monitor the work climate in his/her team, taking steps to encourage and ensure the maintenance of a positive work environment and adherence to company values;
- Positively represent Rodeo FX within the VFX and related communities, both locally and in the worldwide market, to further grow the company’s reputation as an industry leader.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of production experience in visual effects;
- 5 years of management experience and client management;
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Functional french (or willingness to learn);
- Excellent knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft Office;
- Strong knowledge of Shotgun project management software;
- Excellent knowledge of the VFX Production process from concept to delivery;
- Excellent organizational and planning skills;
- Excellent sense of prioritization and respect of deadlines and budgets;
- Must be available for international travel.

The Role
North Star: You will lead the production reputation of Mint by nurturing a culture for producing creative and innovative work at the highest standard, on budget, and on time. You will lead the production department developing high quality producers, and elevating the work the agency produces, while protecting client’s budgets and the agency’s profitability. Working closely with the SLT team, this person will contribute to the overall culture of the agency, and break conventions in the spirit of innovation, progressiveness, and ever changing contexts.
Partner with the senior leadership team to create and manage best-in-industry production in any medium (from film and photography, to experiential and digital).
The Executive Producer will be responsible for the following:
- Establishes the standard for the production team in ways of working, partnerships, and all output
- Promotes and inspires out of the box thinking that breaks conventions and pushed creative work forward
- Train producers of all levels in the understanding that producers must always balance between pragmatism (budget + timeline), while also creating conditions to elevate creative work
- Bring and further develop strong external relationships with the best talent and vendors working; attracting them to our agency, work and productions.
- Mentor, grow and develop producers with Mint’s values in mind and encourage participation, discussion and contribution from all levels

- Collaborate with creative teams (ECD, Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers) for productions in order to generate work at the highest standards; as needed
- Financial accountability and management of production department and client productions through budget building, tracking and reconciliation
- Approving completion reports and proper filing for all productions once complete; including making sure final production files are accounted for on the server
- Helps to develop a plan for the execution of ideas, reviewing and editing production proposals from other team members; as needed
- Oversees team of producers while delegating tasks as needed
- Recruitment of best in class talent in the production department
- Finger on the pulse of the best vendors, creatives, and technical experts to partner with; you continuously challenge status quo and bring innovative partners to the creative team to consider (production houses, post-production, freelance talent, etc)
