R Systems is a global firm with offices in 16 countries. We are expanding our Public Sector Practice in Sacramento, CA and we are seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented, and results-driven Leader. You will lead project delivery for about 50% of the time and lead pre-sales other 50% of the time. As part of our Public Sector Team, you will be charged with responding to medium to large solicitations with difficult qualifications prescribed by our State Government clients. You will be responsible for drawing upon company-wide resources, tools, and extended leadership to deliver proposal responses on time. Your creativity, technical depth and writing skills will be required to develop solutions/ technical approach to deliver Statement of Work (SOW) from RFPs and RFOs. Your interpersonal skills allow you to develop lasting relationships with both proposed candidates, client managers and partnering firms. You will also engage in pre-RFP work by reviewing government budgets, strategic plans, upcoming procurements, and market research conducted by agencies and departments. Your client delivery will require regular interaction with current clients to ensure contract completion and associated and change requests, engagement management on deliverable-based contracts, resource coaching on staff-augmentation contracts, and other client needs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or MIS
- 15 years overall experience in Information Technology consulting. Must have begun career in development roles and transitioned to managerial roles.
- 12 years of experience in Pre-sales, and leading solicitations in technical and management consulting areas exclusively in the State of California in public sector practice of an established firm.
- 10 years of IT Project Delivery experience in variety of roles including hands-on development, project management and engagement management
- 8 years of Experience in technical writing for proposal responses including technical solutions, approach, cover page, executive summary and skills summaries of resources.
- Experience building and developing relationships with vendors and clients in a highly competitive business environment.
- Experience advising client leaders on technology, implementations, and management of the full lifecycle of large-scale implementations.
- Experience, knowledge, and extensive network of candidates, vendors, state executives, etc. in local Sacramento market within State government departments.
- Technically savvy with expertise in at least 3 of the following areas with. – Cloud Migration, SaaS Implementations, Systems Integration with COTS, Custom and ERP, Data Warehousing and Analytics, .NET and Java Development, Mobile, Data Center Operations, Architecture and Infrastructure, etc

Responsibilities
- Manage current clients and billable resources for ensuring smooth delivery of all projects. Guarantee client satisfaction with regular check-ins
- Lead the Capture/Pre-RFP activity of strategic and tactical leads/opportunities and provide partnerships to internal R Systems leadership team.
- Lead complex, large, high-speed and most-cost effective RFP responses as a Proposal Manager including proposal planning, story boarding, sourcing, developing approach, conducting pink/red team reviews and production.
- Manage an offshore team of pre-sales and develop an inclusive, high-performance team and culture of winning that will double RFP selection/win rate.
- Successfully run fast-turn around searches for resources usually within a week of RFP/Solicitation release when internal candidates are not available.
- Lead the technical writing from story boarding/concept phase to final approval after review and revise cycles. This includes a technical approach responding to Statement of Work from RFP, and many other areas.
- Negotiate the best rate or salary with candidates confirming to the rate-cards available within the Master Services Agreements.
- Partner with the vendors, suppliers, staffing firms, team partners and other resources to identify, engage, evaluate, and recruit candidates for proposal submissions.
- Review leads/pipeline for identifying high-probability opportunities for Capture and pre-RFP campaign. Lead Capture work for 2-3 opportunities every quarter.

This role is the internal client relations engine of our business, responsible for the ongoing profitable growth of the company. As such, this individual will lead efforts to identify, secure, and grow relationships with new and existing advertising clients who need premium music for use in broadcast television and a variety of digital advertising media. Responsibilities:
- Identify, forge, and foster new client relationships for license and bespoke original music opportunities along with nurturing existing client relationships.

Gear Patrol is seeking a full-time Art Director to join our Creative Team. This position is intended specifically for well-rounded creatives looking to develop leadership skills while working at an innovative digital and print media company.
The Art Director will play a key role in shaping the Gear Patrol brand. They will work to execute both exciting campaigns and evergreen work, bringing our offerings to life across our Editorial division. They will be responsible for translating strategies into audience-specific concepts and executions, with a focus on cross-platform visuals and storytelling.
The objective of the Art Director is to produce compelling and memorable visual narratives via evocative and original design, illustration, photography, and typography, concurrently distinguishing and evolving the brand’s visual presence.
The Art Director will report directly to the Creative Director while interfacing regularly with the Executive Editor and other departments, including members of the Product, Platforms, and Commerce Teams.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the standard bearer of the visual look & feel of Gear Patrol Editorial content.
- Work closely with the Creative Director and Executive Editor in leading the development, production, and design of the website, print magazine, and flagship stories
- Ideate and execute visuals to create more impactful and resonant storytelling for editorial features, whether this is through photo illustration, commissioning of illustrations and infographics, or direction of photo and video shoots

Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience at an agency, publisher, or brand
- Exceptional skills in the formal aspects of design, including typography, grid systems, composition, form, hierarchy, scale, proportion, and color
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Must have experience designing responsively for web using XD, Figma, and/or Sketch
- Proficiency and familiarity with web design, CSS, and digital design best practices
- Familiarity with content management systems and blogging platforms such as WordPress and Squarespace. Media-OS a plus

Crispin’s new San Diego office (formerly Vitro) is looking for a junior-level AD with strong social skills. This person will work on multiple accounts in various media (video, print, and digital), but with a specific emphasis on crafting social media content. Deep understanding of Tiktok and Instagram trends is a must, along with type, design, and conceptual skills.
This is a full-time, hybrid-remote position. Must be local or willing to relocate to San Diego and spend at least three days a week in a bustling, dog-friendly, downtown office.

What You’ll Do
People & Culture General Support
- Support the Director of P&C and hiring managers in creating and maintaining recruitment plans to attract diverse and talented candidates
- Support hiring managers and the Director of P&C with administrative tasks related to recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Lead benefits open enrollment and ongoing administration of all benefits, including medical, dental, vision, LTD, 403b, life insurance, and FSA & HSA plans
- Run ADP reports on HR data, including retention, demographics, PTO balances, benefits usage, etc.
- Coach managers on performance support, professional planning and team retention strategies
- Partner with the Director of P&C to develop and administer a compensation program, including compensation reviews and surveys to ensure equitable and fair pay
- Assist the Director of P&C with pulse surveys, employee engagement and employee development
- Recommend and support strategies to foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for all staff
- Partner with managers and leadership to maintain an employee-centered workplace culture

- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, specifically related to FMLA, CFRA, PDL, etc.
- Collaborate with the Director of P&C to develop and maintain employee policies to ensure compliance and best practices; support communication and training to ensure consistent implementation
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO
Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a solid mix of the following knowledge, ability, skills and experience:
- 5-7 years of experience working in human resources
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations preferred, especially those with educators on staff
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a diverse community
- Sound judgment to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, and other state and federal regulations

- Experience with JEDI planning and implementation is a plus
