I am casting for the role of THE BOY ELEGUA for “Wild Darlings Sing the Blues” a feature-length Afro-futurist documentary following the Wild Darlings, a queer healing arts collective of Black women and non-binary activists who embark on a pilgrimage from New York City to a former plantation for enslaved people in Virginia, where they will build a sanctuary and create powerful performance art. The Wild Darlings explore spiritual reparations through ancestral healing by bearing witness to the legacy of slavery.

SEEKING: Black/brown-skinned boy/teen who appears young. He can be anywhere from 10-20 years old. Acting experience is preferred but not necessary.
‘THE BOY ELEGUA’ appears throughout the film as both a spirit of the land and as the Yoruba deity, Elegua.
DATES AND LOCATION:
-Films for 2-3 days in and around May 10-18, 2022 in Richmond, Virginia.
PAY- This is a NON-UNION job that will pay $500 rate per day (negotiable), and follow SAG/ AFTRA guidelines for young performer hours.

It would involve a Covid-19 test on Wednesday, April 6th in Manhattan, New York Area

Vaccination Requirements
- According to the newly re-negotiated Return to work agreement, All Zone A Cast and Crew must be up to date with their vaccines, including boosters, by March 15, 2022.
- The Return to Work Agreement stipulates that effective March 15, 2022, only individuals who are “up to date” on their vaccines, as that term is defined by the CDC, shall be considered “fully vaccinated”
- Per the CDC, individuals are considered “up to date” on their vaccines if they have received a booster dose at least 5 months after the last dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or a booster dose at least 2 months after the first dose of the J&J/ Janssen vaccine.
- Reasonable accommodations will be made as required by law for individuals who cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance.
- Individuals who are seeking an exception/exemption from the vaccine requirements must submit a request for accommodation and will be given proper instruction on how to do so.

Seeking people to portray Upscale Debutante Ball Guests with their own Formal Wear (Tuxedos for Men, Dresses/Gowns for Women) for work on Season 2 of the HBO Max ‘Gossip Girl’
The scene is a debutante ball.
*ALL DAYS ARE NIGHT SHOOTS!!!* Some will have afternoon call times, some will have evening call times.
Tentative Dates:
- Filming 4/6, 4/7, 4/8, 4/14, and 4/15
- Can work any/all dates that you are available. (Some days have smaller numbers than others, so not everyone will be needed ALL dates)

Please be advised that to work on Gossip Girl starting March 15, all cast members must be up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”). Being “up-to-date” means a person has received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible. In other words, this means that at least 2 weeks have elapsed since receiving the 2nd dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or since receiving a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine; and when a booster shot is recommended, that the individual has received it prior to March 15, 2022.
