Vaccination Requirements

• According to the newly re-negotiated Return to work agreement, All Zone A Cast and Crew must be up to date with their vaccines, including boosters, by March 15, 2022.
• The Return to Work Agreement stipulates that effective March 15, 2022, only individuals who are “up to date” on their vaccines, as that term is defined by the CDC, shall be considered “fully vaccinated”
• Per the CDC, individuals are considered “up to date” on their vaccines if they have received a booster dose at least 5 months after the last dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or a booster dose at least 2 months after the first dose of the J&J/ Janssen vaccine.
• Reasonable accommodations will be made as required by law for individuals who cannot be vaccinated due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance.
• Individuals who are seeking an exception/exemption from the vaccine requirements must submit a request for accommodation and will be given proper instruction on how to do so.

Looking for NEWPORT, RI LOCAL men to portray Upscale Waitstaff/Footmen for Season 2 the HBO Series The Gilded Age.

This background performer role is NOT covered by a SAG-AFTRA CBA and subject to a Preference of Employment provision.

THIS IS PAID WORK!

-Shooting 5/12, 5/13; covid test 5/10; fitting 4/26, or 4/27 Covid test 4/25.

There will be required covid tests 48 hours prior to your fitting, and 48 hours prior to your work date. The rate for this work will be: Non-SAG = $150/10hrs; Covid Test = $60; Fitting = $27.27/2hours
There may be atmospheric smoke in the interior scenes

Scenes are set in the 1880s….
MEN: NO VISIBLE TATTOOS. (especially on neck & hands); Must have natural hair colors and ok getting period haircut and have your facial hair styled/altered to be period appropriate; NO wool allergies, no braces MEN: ideally 36inches – 42inches chest; 5’10 – 6’2 in height.

‘HAIRSPRAY’ VIRTUAL OPEN CALL

The Tony Award winning Broadway production of HAIRSPRAY is going on a 1st class tour of Australia starting July 2022 and we are casting talent from the US for the roles of ‘Seaweed’, the ‘Dynamites’, and the ‘Motormouth’ singing/dancing ensemble.
