Job Description: We are currently casting non-SAG (Screen Actors Guild) individuals to play attractive bar patrons in the background for an upcoming series titled “Dying for Sex”. Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow directions from the director and production staff
• Act naturally in a bar setting and simulate conversation and activity without causing sound disruptions

• Attend costume fittings if required, and wear provided wardrobe
• Be punctual and reliable, arriving on set at the designated call time
• Be prepared for potential long hours on set, remaining available for the duration of the shooting day

Requirements:

• Open to all ethnicities and gender identities
• Must have a valid ID to fill out a Federal I9 form for payment purposes
• Must be comfortable being on a show that deals with adult subject matter, including nudity and sexual situations, as well as sensitive topics like cancer diagnosis and treatment (Please note: such content will not be included in the bar scenes)
• Availability to work on the tentative shooting date: Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in Brooklyn, NY

Compensation:

• Pay rate is $176 for 10 hours ($16/hour)
• Overtime will be paid according to legal requirements
• This background role is not covered by the SAG-AFTRA Collective Bargaining Agreement
