Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, shopping, build and construction of all costume items required for assigned accounts and projects.
  • Liaise and negotiate with current and potential vendors to ensure items sourced are most cost effective and durable.
  • Prepare concepts and designs for assigned accounts, including character renderings, research, costume plots, and designs throughout the process.
  • Coordinate all costume needs between outsourced designers, build shops, vendors, in-house and on-site alteration teams, production management, and talent.
  • Oversee fittings and alteration needs for assigned accounts.

  • Effectively manage costume expenses and expense reports for assigned projects, ensuring deliverables remain within budgetary guidelines.

  • Record & document (electronic and hard copy) all information relating to account costume data as reference for future production and documentation purposes.

Qualifications

The Studio is seeking a Media Resource Manager to oversee all workflow scheduling in relation to the execution of approved media plans. The role reports to the Executive Director of Studio Operations and is responsible for managing materials and resources. What You’ll Do

Hands-On (100% of responsibilities):

  • Schedule and prioritize a high volume of media requests across multiple clients, ranging from live entertainment to education and cause clients.
  • Manage the flow of materials or resources through work management software such as Monday.com to ensure proper load assignments and on-time delivery
  • Prepare weekly reports for Media Team and management on resource availability and task assignments for the next 3 weeks.
  • Establish effective communication with other departments to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage long-term planning schedule with the Media leadership team to identify resource requirements on accounts and identify potential gaps well in advance.
  • Troubleshoot procedures and workflows to ensure deadlines are met; make recommendations to increase our current systems and workflow effectiveness.
  • Partner with Client Services on quarterly forecasting.

Our office is located in midtown Manhattan, and we are currently working in-office three days per week.

Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Daily management of media resources ensuring they are clear on next steps.
  • Confirm that work is progressing on schedule.
  • Assign projects and tasks to appropriate media buyers.

Position Description: 

Groundswell seeks an energetic and organized Communications Manager. The Communications Manager will be responsible for managing Groundswell’s external communications, including social media, press releases, annual reports, e-blasts, funder, and partner materials, and more. The role will develop actionable short- and long-term strategies to clarify external messaging and grow digital audience reach, while also being responsible for designing communications assets and executing deliverables in a timely manner.
