This is a casting call for MISS NIGHTCLUB , a 2nd Year Short Film for NYU Graduate Film Program. Shooting 23-26th February 2022, 3 days in NYC and one day in Larchmont, NY. Topless nudity involved, there will be an intimacy rider and there is a highly experienced Intimacy Coordinator on board, who will also be set.
We are looking to cast for the role of HAILEY, see below.
Logline: “A young man attempts to overcome his fear of physical intimacy.”
Synopsis: “An angry, young Korean-American male recounts to his therapist his experiences visiting an escort in an attempt to overcome his fear of physical intimacy.”
“HAILEY: an empathetic sex worker who is equal parts spiritual and entrepreneurial; she is the daughter of immigrants who deftly balances her responsibilities, partly as a means for keeping herself sane; she finds calm in meditation, is probably a yoga practitioner, and has a strong spirituality to her; she has seen and done a lot at a young age and attributes much of her success to how she has coped with past trauma; must be able to speak intermediate Spanish; nudity note: topless nudity required during a scene that involves hugging, caressing, and potentially kissing the Kevin character during a sex scene, though they actually do not end up having sex and just lay together.”
