L/A/V Production Manager Description:

The Lighting/Audio/Video Manager is responsible for managing the production of all technical elements for various high-end special events. The position requires someone who is detail orientated and has knowledge of event lighting, audio and video production. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize workflow and support a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication skills are a must in order to communicate extensively with clients and production staff efficiently. 

 

The Responsibilities:

 

Assisting the staff in daily operations of events

·         Assist the staff in the upkeep and maintenance of the specific

event spaces as assigned where it relates to AV or Lighting.

·         Build and manage relationships with the venue staff as applicable.

 

– Work w/ sales team to design & prepare all aspects of an event, including creation of gear, crewing lists and plots

– Provide assistance with site visits with clients and event teams

– Work closely with sales team to understand client needs and requirements

– Manage freelance technical crews and provide instructions on what is expected of them for each job

– Coordinate with other vendors and the client to make sure there is a smooth onsite working environment

 

Event Execution

·         Build and manage each project plan according to scope.

·         Manage to quality, timing, and budgetary guidelines.

·         Continually strive to grow and improve the best practices skills

needed to deliver client satisfaction on every job.

 ·         Be in constant communication with client, updating them as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

* 6+ years of professional Video Production Management experience in commercials, corporate videos, film, television, related field or equivalent, at a production company, studio, or creative agency.

* A strong portfolio of managing successful, high-quality videos, commercials, television shows, films…etc.

* A strong knowledge of the production workflow and process

* An expert communicator and planner with a proven record of resourceful thinking and execution

* Strong proficiency using in the following systems & software:

The Role

Moonbug is seeking a full-time Music Production Coordinator to support the Production team and liaise with the music distribution team. This role is based in our West Hollywood office in the heart of California. At Moonbug, you will be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment; one of the fastest-growing genres in music.

The successful candidate will have strong project management skills. You will need to be digitally confident, organized, detail-oriented, and ready to adapt to new challenges.

We would like to see someone who has been working in some sort of production capacity, however, this role could also suit someone with great organizational and musical skills that wants to step into the production world.

Reporting to the Music Production Managers, you will be coordinating the music production for multiple children’s brands and will be able to organize assets including audio stems, cue sheets, budgets, purchase orders, and contracts on time for delivery deadlines.

This role will report full-time ON-SITE at our West Hollywood Office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously – ensuring audio and metadata are complete and all necessary approvals are finalized by MPMs.
  • Track production schedules and delivery deadlines for releases
  • Supporting music production staff with day-to-day tasks and problems
  • Work with the production and creative department to coordinate and schedule voice talent recording sessions.
  • Organize previously released assets for cataloging
  • Manage existing relationships with our composer and songwriter roster and proactively build new ones.
  • Managing the delivery of assets to the music distribution team.

The Audience Development team is looking for a part-time Social Video Producer to create original and innovative short-form, vertical video for KQED’s social media channels. This video creator should have a deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram and be able to transition seamlessly between video creation and community engagement while maintaining KQED’s editorial standards.

The Social Video Producer has the ability to own every aspect of video production — from originating the story’s initial concept and pitching through production and video editing. Essential Functions:

The duties of the Social Video Producer include:

  • Produce, shoot, and edit short-form, vertical video for KQED’s marquee accounts on Instagram and TikTok
  • Publish 2 – 3 videos per week on Instagram and TikTok
  • Collaborate with Audience Development and engagement producers to develop and pilot new vertical video concepts in alignment with KQED social strategy
  • Research social trends and ideate ways to translate concepts to fit the KQED brand
  • Build reports that showcase social video performance, audience trends, consumption patterns and engagement preferences
