• Coordinates various aspects of production including script writing, editing, audio, camera work, and music.
• Being a Video Producer oversees the work of production, creative, and support staff.
• Utilizes production techniques such as graphics, viewer pictures, or webcam interviews.
• In addition, Video Producer may build show rundowns, write copy, select & pre-edit video.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to department head. Being a Video Producer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
• Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Working as a Video Producer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
