Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content Creator and Video Producer to join our sports and entertainment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and producing high-quality video and creative content for various platforms, including social media, digital channels, and live events. The ideal candidate will be a creative and proficient content creator who can work with multiple properties, including a Canadian Hockey League team, live music, and live events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute content strategy for video and creative content across all platforms, including social media, digital channels, and live events
- Produce and direct live event coverage, highlight reels, behind-the-scenes content, and original video content
- Work with creative teams to develop and execute concepts for video and creative content
- Coordinate and manage video shoots, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Edit and post-produce video content, including sound mixing and color correction
- Manage and maintain an archive of all video and creative content
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to video production and creative projects
- Manage and develop a team of production professionals
- Possess photography skills that can be utilized to produce creative assets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in video production or related field, with a strong portfolio of work
- Strong knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and cinematography
- Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry, including market trends and competitive landscape
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with creative and marketing teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and meet project deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of video production and creative projects
- Being bilingual in French and English is a plus

The social video content producer for Anker’s Portable Power Solutions team will be responsible for developing high-quality video content to support the Anker brand efforts in the portable power market. This individual is not only an experienced videographer and editor, but also is a proven creative leader who is able to bring prior workflow and production process experience to the Anker team. Working closely with the brand and digital product marketing teams, the social video content producer will have the opportunity to transform thoughtful consumer backed insights and messaging into compelling storytelling video, that spreads well on social media platforms. This individual will be able to distill and collaborate on campaign briefs to then execute, supporting brand efforts and servicing internal content requests. Responsibilities:
- Produce original, creative product-focused short video content and educational video content that showcase Anker products in a relevant, engaging and potentially socially-viral way

Summary
The Video Producer/Editor is responsible for the management, planning, and execution of all video production. This is a hands-on role that requires a video production expert with demonstrated experience who is highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to join our team of creative professionals. The Video Producer/Editor must have a well-rounded knowledge and provide their creative vision through a blend of storytelling, creative, and technical expertise. Job Duties
- Producing all video assignments for the company (from pre to post)
- Create and assemble video content for customer stories, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and presentation videos, and other enterprise-wide projects
- Assist with scriptwriting, storyboarding, and selecting optimal forms of media for projects
- Work independently, as well as part of a team to produce project deliverables

Required Skills

You must have thorough experience with preps and finishing workflow for trailers/promo work (including TV/digital and social work) and be able to handle a fast-paced environment while remaining self-disciplined. • Deep understanding of codecs, exporting, transcoding and converting video files
• Collaborate with Editors and Producers to create content that meets strict creative and technical standards
• Excel in “finishing a video” (balancing audio, color correcting, fine tuning cuts, etc.)

We’re looking for a diverse range of people who live within Canada ages 13 to 99. We’ll need you to hold a Froot Loop in an interesting way. Any colour of Froot Loop you’d like, or submit all five colours individually as a picture or short video. We only need to see your hand. The loop should be held up between the thumb and index finger. We need the Loop to be clearly visible and distinguishable to camera. If you’re having fun and would like to try holding the Loop with any other fingers that’s okay too. Please see our reference photo below.
