Casting Call: Minor Photo Double Needed for Feature Film “Oops All Berries”

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stand-in for the principal actor during various film scenes, lighting, and camera setup.

  • Location: Must be able to reliably commute to or reside near Union City, GA, for the duration of the filming day.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a photo double is preferred but not required.
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States. If under 18, must have guardian permission and appropriate work permits as required by Georgia state law.

Compensation Details:

  • The role is compensated at a rate of $196 for a 12-hour day.
  • Any work beyond 12 hours will be compensated accordingly, as per industry standards.

Role Description: The stand-in will work closely with the director and cinematography team to ensure lighting, camera setup, and scene composition are meticulously prepared before shooting scenes with the actors. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and quality of production, offering a unique behind-the-scenes experience in the filmmaking process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on set during the designated shooting schedule, closely following instructions from the director and director of photography.
  • Assume the positions, movements, and posture of the principal actors to assist with the setup of lighting and camera angles.
  • Participate in camera tests and technical rehearsals as required.
  • Maintain flexibility and availability for the duration of the assigned work dates.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operation and timely execution of scenes.

Requirements:

  • Male, height between 6’0″ and 6’4″.
  • Waist size between 30-38 inches.
  • Complexion, hair length, and facial hair must be similar to the reference image (image not provided here, but will be shared with selected candidates).
  • Previous experience as a stand-in on film or television sets is highly preferred.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional work ethic.
  • Ability to take direction well and adapt quickly to changes on set.

Compensation Details:

Job Detail: We are currently seeking an experienced stand-in to join the production of the new feature film “OAB”. This role is crucial for ensuring that the filming process runs smoothly and efficiently. The selected candidate will work closely with the directors and cinematography team to assist in setting up scenes and lighting by standing in for the actors.

Casting Call: Photo Double with Spray Painting Experience for “Out the Kitchen”

Job Description: “Out the Kitchen,” a dynamic new production, is excited to announce a unique opportunity for both union and non-union talents. We are seeking an individual to fill the role of a Caucasian male photo double who possesses expertise in spray painting. This role is essential for a specific scene which will be shot on Friday, January 26th. The scene will be an exterior shoot, and the exact location, while not yet determined, will definitely be within New York City.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a photo double for a principal actor in specific scenes.
  • Performing spray painting tasks as required by the script, with a focus on safety and authenticity.
  • Being available for the entire duration of the shoot day.
  • Following direction from the director, cinematographer, or other crew members.
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure seamless integration into the scene.
  • Being prepared to work in outdoor conditions.

Requirements:

  • Identifiable Caucasian male, fitting the physical profile of the principal actor (specific measurements will be provided upon application).
  • Demonstrable experience in spray painting, with the ability to perform convincingly on camera.
  • Union or non-union status.
  • Availability for the entirety of the shoot day on Friday, January 26th.
  • Ability to travel to the shoot location in New York City.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor settings.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to take direction well.

Compensation Details:

  • Rate: $243 for an 8-hour workday.
  • Payment terms and any additional compensation will be discussed upon casting confirmation.
  • Please note that this is a one-day engagement.

Out the kitchen seeking:

  • Non-union males and females to portray a high school brass band.
  • No actual playing on the day, but looking for bg that can provide their own instruments, such as a trumpet, trombone, tuba, and snare drums. 
  • This will be an exterior shoot in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.

Rate is 165/10hr and bumps for the instrument you can provide will be discussed directly. 

Out the kitchen are seeking:

  • Male minors ages 10-14 yrs to portray soccer teams.
  • Looking for minors with soccer experience. Nothing unique ability or stunt-worthy. 

Union role. $187/8hr.

Looking for BG that can provide their own gear, such as shin guards and cleats, but optional. This will be an exterior shoot for the current season in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 

Must have a valid work permit, trust account, and ids.
