This series is non-union, true-crime recreation with no scripted audio.  

1. Police #1- White male, 35-45.  Likely needed 2 days, 8 scenes.  $150/day

3. Deputy- White male, 35-45.  Likely needed 2 days. 6 scenes.  $150/day
4. Young Kaye- WF, 12-14yo.  Blonde or strawberry blonde hair.  This is happy backstory of the victim.  She’s having a fun time with her mom and dad.  $100
5. Pam, perp’s wife- White female, 24-28,  Should be able to portray someone who is not put together. Thin build.  There are some scenes where the perp is mean to her.  She is interviewed by detectives and lies about her husband.  Then, she goes to detectives to reveal the truth.  $125
6. Fred, victim’s dad- White male, 40’s-50’s.  He’s going to need to span from the 40’s-70’S.  Looking for someone with mustache and some chops or longer hair.  Likely 2 days, 5 scenes. $135/DAY
7. Catherine, victim’s mom- White female, 40’s-50’s.  She’s also going to span from the 40’s-70’s.  Seeking someone with long, straight, blonde hair would be great.  Likely 2 days, 5 scenes. $135/DAY
8. Search extras 1-2- Adults with 70’s looks.  Mustache, long hair, etc.  $100  Likely 1 day
9. Tom Hanna- White male, 30’s-early 40’s.  He’s a state highway night shift worker who is the last to see the victim alive.  1 scene. $100
10. Trackers 1-2:  White males. 30’s-early 50’s.  They are old school trackers who would help solve crimes.  Cop-like.  Tracking the area where the victim was last seen.  $100/day, 1 scene/1 day

For the second cast on Norwegian Pr1ma, we are seeking highly skilled singers, rappers, tap dancers, beatboxers and multi-instrumentalists for an exciting new production of THE NOISE BOYS.

Mixing tap dancing, beatboxing, rap, singing and instrumental skills, this show explores exciting new musical and percussive collaborations between artists at the very top of their game.

Nic Doodson Productions is a production company that has created hit shows and groups for over 20 years. Creations include a cappella supergroup THE MAGNETS, the hit a cappella and beatboxing show GOBSMACKED and current worldwide smash THE CHOIR OF MAN. NOISE BOYS premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019.  

The Narrator

Role: Rapper, Singer & Storyteller

Identifies: Female

Ethnicity: Black, African Caribbean, Middle Eastern, North African or Asian

Nationality: Any, but with fluent English (UK/US/Australian accent)

Physicality: Any – but must be an absolute star.

Skills: Outstanding pop singer with strong ability to rap

Description: The Narrator is the conduit between the show and the audience. She is the person who explains to the audience what is going on and guides them through the show. She should be charming and empathetic and able to converse confidently with the audience and improvise and ad lib in conversation with the audience. The Narrator should be equally at home performing storytelling rap (in the style of Hamilton/In the Heights) and divaesque pop numbers (think Ariana Grande). 

BEATBOXERS: 

Highly skilled beatboxers with a wide variety of sounds and effects. Should be highly efficient at keeping time with both in-ear click and without click. Additional skill using loopstations, notably the BOSS RC-505 would be preferable, though not 100% required. Beatboxers can be any nationality, ethnicity, and gender identity. 18 and older. 

TAPPERS: 

Highly skilled rhythm tappers, in the style of “American Tap.” Acrobatic and/or clowning skills advantageous. Tappers can be any nationality, ethnicity, and gender identity. 18 and older.
