ATLANTA – FEATURED Background Casting Notice 

SHOWTIME TV SERIES

• –Lincoln Memorial scenes

Shoot Date: 

Filming – SAT 9/11

 (*Call Time MAY be VERY very early (possibly as early as 4:30am) in the morning to allow for hair/makeup/costuming)

Covid Tests:  TUES 9/7 and THURS 9/9

Fitting: WEDS 9/8

–MUST be available for ALL test,fitting, work dates

Test/Fitting Location: COVINGTON, GA 

Filming Location: TBD – either Atlanta or COVINGTON (a $20 gas bump paid on Filming dates for travel to the Covington area)

Pay RATES:  

Filming dates $168.00/12 (+$20 gas bump for Covington filming locations)

• Covid Test & Fitting dates $84.00/day (**NOTE: this rate is contingent on you showing up to work on set and will be paid in installments – $34.00/day guaranteed base rate for initial test/fitting with an additional $50.00/day (for each test/fitting) allowance added to your voucher on your work date. If you do not show up for the filming date, you will not be eligible for and will forfeit the $50/day allowance for any tests/fittings but will still be paid the $34/day guarantee) 

ROLES CASTING – 

DC MONUMENT GUARDS (1939)

• Male, white, age range 20s-40s, natural looking, conservative, military types with good posture and stance. Men-suit jacket size 40-42, waist size 33-38, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. NO colored hair, NO modern/quirky haircuts, NO shaved bald heads,  NO visible tattoos or piercings (any arm/leg/wrist/ankle tattoos will not be accepted). MUST be willing to be clean-shaven, a small tidy mustache may be acceptable IF you are willing to let the makeup Dept trim it to be period appropriate. NO beards or goatees. MUST be willing to allow Hair Dept to give you a period appropriate hair cut (will be paid $15 if they need to cut your hair). This scene takes place in 1939

STAGEHANDS (1939)

• Male, White, age range 20s-50s, natural looking, conservative. Men-suit jacket size 36-44, waist size 30-38, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. • Female, ALL ethnicities, age range 55+, down to earth, outdoorsy type, someone who liked to work on gardening and yard work. MUST be comfortable around large dogs

MOM & DAD with baby stroller

• Male and Female, all ethnicities, age range mid 20s-40s, conservative, wholesome, prefer a REAL couple but will consider pairing individuals (baby not required). MUST be comfortable around large dogs

DOG OWNERS with DOGS 

• Male and Female, all ethnicities, age range 18+, variety of type who have a well-behaved dog that they can bring ON LEASH to the dog park with our trained dogs

• PIANIST – Male Caucasian, age range 30-70, must be proficient at piano playing to recreate a scene from a 1940s inauguration. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

MUSICIANS TYPE #2:

• STRING QUARTET (Viola, Cello, 2 Violins) – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 25-75, must be experienced string musicians and prefer an existing quartet that plays together. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/10, Fitting 9/11, Covid Retest 9/14, Filming 9/16

MUSICIANS TYPE #3:

• JAZZ/SWING BAND or MUSICIANS that play these instruments (2 Trumpet, 2 Sax, Drums, Piano) – Male, African American, age range 20-70, must be experienced individual musicians or an actual group that plays. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

CARTER’S CASTING:

Need the sizes listed below Only, if your child isn’t EXACTLY the sizes, please don’t submit. NEED SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN ALL GROUPS.

You must be Available between 9/25 to 9/28. You won’t be needed on all the dates, but must be available, shoot is in Atlanta.

Submission Deadline is Noon Monday, 9/6.

• 3T – height 37″ – 42″, this may mean we get some 4Ts which is fine

Shoot Dates: 

Filming begins OCT 5 and goes until DEC16.  Looking for someone with open flexible availability Monday-Friday from 10/5-12/16

Regular Covid Testing will also be required

Filming Location:  Atlanta area (we do not have a Locations list yet)

Pay RATES:  

Filming dates $175.00/12 

Covid Tests on non-work dates $43.75/4 (1/4 check of daily rate)

ROLE CASTING – WINSTON FEGLEY PHOTO DOUBLE

• Can be Male or Female, Caucasian, age range 18-40, brown hair. This is for a Photo Double for a 12 year old boy so height & weight range as short & thin as possible – actor is 4’11” and weighs 95lbs. (see photo for reference) Prefer someone with previous Standin or on-set experience but not required. This will work as both a Standin and Photo Double
