Dwayne Johnson’s Lizard Music: How to Audition for the Upcoming Fantasy Film

Based on Daniel Pinkwater’s cult children’s novel, Lizard Music follows a young boy who discovers mysterious late-night television broadcasts featuring lizards playing music. His search for answers leads him to an eccentric figure known as the Chicken Man, played by Dwayne Johnson, and a surreal world filled with mystery, imagination, and unexpected friendship.
The project has already attracted major attention because it reunites Johnson with Safdie after The Smashing Machine and gives Johnson a dramatically different character to play. Johnson has spoken publicly about slimming down for the whimsical role of the elderly Chicken Man, whose best friend is a chicken named Claudia.

The film is expected to blend fantasy, adventure, comedy, and heartfelt storytelling. With Benny Safdie writing and directing, Lizard Music may bring a unique visual style and emotional depth to Daniel Pinkwater’s beloved story.
