NOW CASTING FOR PAID STAND-INs FOR A PROJECT FILMING IN ATLANTA. 

CAB Castings, LLC. is looking for PAID STAND-INs (AGES 18 and UP) to be a part of shoots for a project filming here in Atlanta, GA. 

Filming will take place from FEBRUARY 27, 2023 – JUNE 2023. There will be multiple filming dates throughout this time, so we ask that you have an open or flexible schedule.

IMPORTANT INFO BOUT COVID TESTING ON THIS PROJECT

– STAND IN/BACKGROUND ACTORS: The production has adopted a mandatory vaccine requirement for Zone A. As a result, you will need to provide verification that you are up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations, which means that you are fully vaccinated to be assigned to this production.

CASTING STAND-INS

A stand-in for film and television is a person who substitutes for the actor before filming for technical purposes such as lighting and camera setup. Stand-ins are helpful in the initial processes of film and television production. We are seeking stand-ins with experience. Please only submit if you have worked as a stand-in before on a film or television production.

STAND-IN ROLE DETAILS
We will be casting a core group of stand-ins to work throughout the production run from February – April 2023. You may not be needed for all filming dates, but you should have a flexible schedule.
We will also be casting day player stand-ins to work individual dates.

FILMING DATES
It would be best if you had an open and flexible schedule for filming February – April 2023.

COVID-19 testing will be required the day before you are scheduled to work in Atlanta, GA.
You must be available for a 12-hour filming day or longer on set on each date that you are booked.
Call time will not be provided until the day before the filming date. Please only submit if you are available for the filming dates listed above.

FILMING LOCATION
Atlanta, GA, and surrounding areas.

COVID-19 TESTING
COVID-19 testing will be required the day before you are scheduled to work in Atlanta, GA.
No outside tests are accepted.
The test performed is a Covid-19 PCR Test.
While at the test facility and on set, PPE must be worn.
All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing these tests.
You may not be able to provide test results from another outside source. It would be best if you were tested by the production’s Health and Safety team.
You must attend testing regardless of vaccination status.

RATE IF HIRED
Stand-In performer services: $114/8 hrs
COVID-19 testing bump: Quarter check rate COVID-19 Testing Bump (for any testing outside of a work date)

We are seeking Tall Individuals who are 6’6” or taller in ACROSS CANADA for an Insurance Campaign.

We are looking for Men and Women, ages 30 to 55, who are 6’6” and above in height. You will be portrayed as a Gentle Giant in our campaign. This is a Canadian Wide Casting, but it will be shot in Toronto. Travel and accommodation will be provided if you live far away from Toronto.

If selected, each person will be paid approx. $3,000 plus. Plus an additional print option: 1 Year for $3500. This is a union (ACTRA) campaign. Nonunion members are welcome to apply. You don’t need any previous acting experience. Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Must be available for these key dates, filming in Toronto:
Recall – Sometime during the week of March 6, TBD. (In person if you are in Toronto. Via Zoom if you live far from Toronto).
Covid Test: TBD.
Wardrobe: April 3rd.
Shoot Date: April 18th in Toronto – TBD.

CASTING CALL – ILLAWARRA + SHOALHAVEN LOCALS

We are casting locals of all ages residing in the Illawarra + Shoalhaven areas to feature in a campaign for an Australian Health Fund. This campaign focuses on community and small-town values, where everyone looks out for each other and lends a helping hand when needed.

No acting experience is necessary to get involved! We are looking for REAL LOCALS who are community-minded and have a natural charm and charisma.

1. OLDER MAN (60 – 70 yrs)
– We are looking for an older gentleman who is still young at heart.
– He loves his community and is part of the furniture at the local bowls club or RSL.

2. INDIVIDUALS (25 – 70 yrs)
Looking for a range of individuals here: local small business owners, friendly neighbors, ocean swimmers, nature lovers, hobbyists ect

3. YOUNG GIRL (7 – 10 yrs)
A busy and bubbly young girl who is involved in lots of activities.

4. REAL COUPLE  (25 – 35 yrs)
An adventurous couple who like to get out in nature.

SHOOT DATES: 7th – 11th of March 2023 (1 – 2 shoot days, depending on the role)

ADULT TALENT FEES: Selected Adults will receive between AUD 1,500 – AUD 3,500 for their involvement depending on the level of feature and number of shoot days required
All fees are less tax and super.

CHILD TALENT FEES: Selected Children will receive between AUD 500 – AUD 750 for their involvement depending on the level of feature and number of shoot days required

CREW CALL: Docuseries Episode 

Hiring the following roles: Non Union Sound Mixer, Non Union Makeup Artist, Production Assistant for an upcoming shoot for a branded docuseries episode. Please read below for details. All crew must be vaccinated.
Field sound mixer – Must be experienced and comfortable with docuseries sound mixing. The show is a mix of run and gun filming, sit down scenes, and interview segments with multiple guests. Dates: 3/4 – 3/6
Hair & Makeup Artist – Must be experienced with natural on camera makeup and hairstyling for an African American male. Please include a portfolio or proof of work when applying. Dates: 3/4 – 3/5
Production Assistant – Duties will include, driving crew vans, helping with equipment setup, getting releases in the field, carrying gear, ordering crew meals, etc. Must have a valid drivers license and be comfortable driving a 15 passenger vehicle. Dates: 3/3 – 3/7
