We are seeking professional actors with experience and credits to participate in a human emotion AI (Artificial Intelligence) research project. As an actor for this project, you will be tasked with expressing different emotions, both verbally and nonverbally, based on various prompts and emotional storytelling. The project involves improvisation and shooting in a three-camera, green screen studio setup. We aim to create expressive avatars that can emote realistically within virtual environments. Please note that this project does not intend to replace actors whatsoever, but rather requires their expertise to cover a broad range of emotions and micro emotions to train our technology to better understand human emotion. Shooting for this project began in July and pays $150 per hour for approximately 3 hours of work. 
   
NOTE regarding the current WGA and SAG strikes: Our project does not qualify as struck work. This is a fully research-based project and is in no way affiliated with the AMPTP. We strongly adhere to the ethical use of AI technology, and we are fully compliant with all global data privacy acts – this is a matter we take very seriously. Your likeness and voice will be used to train an AI database to better understand and express human emotions, but your individual likeness will not be used for any commercial purposes.

Job Detail: We are seeking New York-based actors, aged 20-30, with a visible and physical disability, to participate in a heartwarming Non-Union Bank Commercial. The commercial aims to showcase a group of friends, known as the “Plant Posse,” who share a passion for gardening and love to gather together to exhibit their plants. Casting Call: HBCU Students/Alumni Taste Test for Boxed MAC Dishes

Job Details: Cocoa Butter, an online media company, is seeking HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) students and alums for a fun and delicious taste-testing project. The selected participants will be tasked with trying and rating each other’s boxed Mac and Cheese dishes to determine who prepares the best version.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Attend the shoot on 8/18/2023 in New York, NY, and participate in the taste-testing event.
2. Test each other’s boxed Mac and Cheese dishes based on flavor, texture, presentation, and overall appeal.
3. Engage in friendly discussions and commentary about the dishes on camera.
4. Maintain a positive and energetic attitude throughout the shoot.

Requirements:

1. Participants must be current students or alumni of an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).
2. Must be available on the shoot date (8/18/2023) and the Covid test date (8/16/2023).
3. Must be located in or able to travel to New York, NY, for the shoot.
4. Previous on-camera experience is optional; however, having an outgoing personality and comfort in front of the camera is a plus.

Compensation Details: Selected participants will be compensated $250 for their time and participation in the taste-testing project. Refreshments will be provided during the shoot.
