SUMMARY
Working with general supervision, the Video Production & Associate Experience Specialist will oversee all aspects of our video production strategy, as well as assist with internal communications and associate engagement projects. This role interacts with a supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Identify impactful weekly content designed around storytelling principles to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures GameStop’s culture and values
- Direct, shoot, and capture great performances/stories from internal staff
- Capture video content during live events, behind-the-scenes and in scripted environments
- Capture and cleanly key green screen shoots
- Quickly and efficiently edit high-quality video for internal distribution
- With supervisor vision, assist with monthly webinar scripting and video production, and executive presentation assistance for employee events
- In partnership with the Store Training specialist, plan, script, produce, film, and edit necessary Store training videos
- Well versed in equipment and processes to execute live streaming and online productions
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative stories, that drive strategic business objectives
- With supervisor guidance, moderate associate comments and feedback on internal communication channels
- Partner with the Creative Services team to develop complementary visuals and videos for internal use, when appropriate, like managing posters, acrylics, and internal TVs throughout the building
- Assist Sr. Specialist Communications, Events & Engagement with high priority engagement projects
- Collect and analyze data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications’ tactics, adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches
- Due to the nature of our associate engagement and experience projects including national video content, and in-person events, some evenings, weekends, and travel may be required (less than 10%)

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s degree in Video Journalism, Video Production; at least three years of additional related experience may be considered in substitution
- 1-2 years experience in video production, post-production and related experience
- Communications experience a plus
- Portfolio of your work is required

We are looking for participants who learned to speak English in India (as either a first or second language) to join our on-site study in Dallas, TX. The purpose of this study is testing user device interaction via a virtual assistant. For the study, you will be required to record audio on a provided device while you are being video recorded.
Who is eligible?

As a videographer for creator /Â influencer at Snoopslimes, you will play a key role in our branding by ideating, creating, editing, and scheduling video and photo content for Snoopslimes social media channels (mainly TikTok, You Tube, and Instagram). You will be a regular face (hands and voice) on our feeds, so being comfortable in front and behind the camera is a must. The ideal candidate has experience with creating social media video content, a proven track record of creating high-quality content, and genuinely loves and understands our slime products and textures, so they can authentically communicate it to our customers.Â

HOURS, PAY & SCHEDULE:Â
This is a hybrid position where you will be working both in-office and remotely. Expected video output of 4-8 videos per week to start. The Videographer will be paid on a per video basis. This is a contractor position with the potential to transition to a full-time, in-house videographer in the future.Â

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):Â
- Produce raw video footage for Snoopslimes social channels and work closely with our Creative Director to edit and post to our social channelsÂ
- Create fast, digestible visual content via mobile device to turn into social media content (short-form videos, Reels, Stories, BTS)Â
- Brainstorm and storyboard ideas for content, working to tell our brand story and engage with a wider audience on the platformÂ
- Independently and quickly edit videos through Adobe Creative Suite products and other social media edit tools such as SpliceÂ
- Communicate and partner with our Creative Director on the ideation, planning and execution of social-media video and photoshootsÂ
- Maintain Snoopslimes brand standards and consistent look and feel across all social contentÂ
- Edit content that is shot by our creative director such as daily vlogs, behind the scenes, etc.Â
- Participate on set and capture real time and event content (video and photography)from Snoopslimes hosted events/photoshoots when necessaryÂ
- Organize and upload content to internal asset storageÂ

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Â
- 2+ years in a video production, editing, or design related roleÂ
- 2+ years of past TikTok and video creation experience that performed well on social media, backed by a fundamental understanding of brand voiceÂ
- You are curious, passionate, and get excited about social media trendsÂ
- Experience with photo & video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Color Correction)Â
- Deep proficiency in video creation, specifically for TikTok, Reels, and You Tube Shorts.Â
- Proven experience of creating content for social media channels (Content samples required with application)Â
