Will be filming scenes in Baton Rouge/St. Francisville area

This film will tell the horrific, yet heroic story of Whipped Peter, who escapes a Louisiana plantation. He was a pivotal figure in exposing the brutality of slavery and served as a soldier in the war. 

Filming in the Baton Rouge and St. Francisville, LA areas – various dates over two weeks beginning October 11th – October 22nd!

Please read thoroughly and submit only if you are available and okay with production’s requirements.

FILMING RATE: $125/12 hours

COVID Test RATE: $100_

FITTING Rate: $31.25/2 hours

You must take a mid-nasal PCR COVID test every 48 hours prior to fitting or filming. 

Pre-Employment COVID Testing will be in the New Orleans/Harahan area AND the Baton Rouge/St. Francisville area. A Costume Fitting is mandatory and will be in New Orleans (Harahan). Fittings will likely begin, the first full week of October.

• CONFEDERATE SOLDIERS: Seeking submissions for looking MEN (18+ years old) who appear to be Caucasian to portray Confederate Soldiers in the aftermath of a battle. You should feel comfortable lying still and possibly having makeup added to you, to give you the appearance of being dead. Men must be willing to grow out hair and facial hair is a PLUS! Filming will be exterior. Please no strong/modern cuts or unnatural colored highlights. The makeup department may add facial hair in some cases. This will likely work 10/11, 10/12 and 10/13 but we are also looking for people with flexible availability.
• UNION SOLDIERS: Seeking submissions for looking MEN (18+ years old) who appear to be African American and Caucasian to portray Union Soldiers. Men must be willing to grow out hair and facial hair is a PLUS! Filming will be exterior. Please no strong/modern cuts or unnatural colored highlights. The makeup department may add facial hair in some cases. This will likely work 10/21-10/22 but we are also looking for people with flexible availability.

Now interviewing for a casting assistant or a junior casting associate on a current project out of Atlanta, GA. This is a part time, remote, freelance basis that could lead to more projects in the future and is paid. 

Experience  required in acting, extras, outreach, booking, sourcing and emailing. Not afraid to pick up a phone and call the talent to book or confirm.

CASTING SKATEBOARDERS AND AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE USERS FOR TV COMMERCIAL.

We’re looking for:

• 1). WOMEN, ages 20s-40s, who are proficient in American Sign Language. Previous on-camera experience is a plus!
• 2). MEN, ages 20s-30s, who are proficient on a skateboard. Previous acting experience is a big plus! Filming will require you deliver dialogue and ride at a skatepark for the camera. You don’t have to be Tony Hawk at the X Games, but you also can’t be George Bush falling off the Segway.

You MUST be a PA resident and be available for filming one day between Oct. 20-22. We don’t know which day, so you must be available for any of those.

• 2. You have dealt with dandruff at some time in your past or are currently experiencing mild to severe dandruff. 
• 3.Looking for women of all hair types! – wavy, curly, straight, short or long! We are excited to see all hair types!
• 4. No prior professional on-camera experience is mandatory – this is very important. Great smiles and a positive attitude is all you need! 
• 5. You should not be an actor, model, reality TV participant or beauty pageant contestant.
