Jared Leto reveals his best acting tips he learned while working on set of Suicide Squad.
The anticipation for the upcoming Suicide Squad movie is ramping up. Despite, reports of major reshoots for the spinoff to the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, Jared Leto and the rest of the cast are sharing inside details behind the villain inspired movie.
The Oscar-winning actor talked to Entertainment Weekly openly discussed the difficulties and challenges of taking on the role of Joker especially after Heath Ledger made the character infamous in The Dark Knight.

“You just knew you had to do something different. You had to make it your own. That happens all the time,” Leto said. “Whether you’re a composer working on a piece of music that was written a century ago, or you’re an actor on stage, reinterpreting a play, it’s very common these days. Directors take on great works of cinema, actors reinterpret roles, that’s been going on for a great deal of time. From ‘Scarface’ to ‘Hamlet.’ In some ways it’s really interesting to reinterpret, redefine.”
“The work that’s been done on this character by so many people before me has been so impactful, so incredible, so much fun, so profound, so risky, that it’s a very special thing to be asked to take on that responsibility,” Leto added.

That’s some pretty deep acting advice. While many actors feel the need to imitate, Jared Leto is confident in his acting abilities that he wants to make the movie role his own. And based on Jared Leto’s acting experience in the best, I know he can do it.
