Cameron Diaz reveals why she hasn’t made a movie since 2014.

Cameron Diaz has not worked on a movie since the 2014 musical Annie and she says there his a good reason as to why she hasn’t been walking around a movie set in recent months.

“I just went, ‘I can’t really say who I am to myself.’ Which is a hard thing to face up to,” she said at the Goop Wellness Summit on Saturday, according to E! Online. “I felt the need to make myself whole.”

Diaz has no planned projects until 2017. Her most recent credits include Sex Tape, The Other Woman, Bad Teacher and Princess Fiona in the Shrek.

The actress appeared alongside Tory Burch, Miranda Kerr, Nicole Richie while Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow moderated the discussion.
