Have a great idea?

Want to contribute back to the humanities? The National Endowment for the Humanities is looking for filmmakers to create productions that showcase the exploration of humanities ideas. Filmmakers have the chance to receive a grant of $100,000 to $650,000 for their production. The program encourages a wide array of productions including short films to broadcast length feature films.

From the NEH:

NEH encourages projects that feature multiple formats to engage the public in the exploration of humanities ideas. Film and television projects may be single programs or a series addressing significant figures, events, or ideas and drawing their content from humanities scholarship. They must be intended for national distribution. The program welcomes projects ranging in length from short-form to broadcast-length video.

The Deadline to apply is: August 9
