Are you an aspiring filmmaker?
Sundance and Adobe Project 1324 are joining forces for the annual Sundance Ignite Short Film Challenge, which awards filmmakers an all-expenses-paid trip to Sundance in addition to a year-long mentorship and support from the Sundance Institute.
Previous mentors include Effie Brown (Project Greenlight, Dear White People), producer Jason Berman (Drop Dead Diva), and Jeff Orlowski (Chasing Coral). Sundance Ignite Fellows will also receive additional opportunities and a free Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 25 and are required to submit a 1 to 8 minute short film that answers the following question, “What stories ignite you?”
Short films should demonstrate the power of film to ignite creativity, passion and impact. Entries will be evaluated for technical excellence, demonstration of an original voice, unique storytelling, strong character or subject development.
To apply, submit your film here before the deadline on September 26. See the previous Sundance Ignite Fellows (and their short films) here.
