All of the above have a major impact however, in a video essay by Michael Tucker, Tucker explains that the most credit should go to the movie’s screenwriter.
In an interesting perspective and analysis of Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl, Tucker argues why a great screenwriter is often the most underestimated person in the making of a great movie. Tucker points out the little cues a great screenwriter would use when they write down the screenplay and how it helps the director and actor out when it comes down to filming the scenes.
