In a question and answer session with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Julia Butters, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, Mike Moh, casting director Victoria Thomas, and stunt coordinator Zoe Bell, the cast and crew shared tips for actors, details from within the movie, and what it was like to work with Quentin Tarantino. Moderated by Sean Fennessey, Chief Content Officer, The Ringer, the conversation goes into detail about the filmmaking process behind ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
One of the biggest parts of the movie was making sure the movie was “authenticity” including the actors, scenes, and filmmaking aspects were important. This included working on stunts for weeks at a time and the level of dedication Brad Pitt had to work on the movie.
The cast also discussed watching videos of the real-life people the movie is based on and the challenges of working a difficult role. Including, Emile Hirsch lost 25 pounds for a small role in the project, illustrating their level of dedication.
