Here are the 10 most annoying problems in blockbuster movies.
Blockbuster movie franchises are the new Hollywood go-to movie. If it can’t be turned into a movie franchise or cinematic universe, Hollywood does not want to hear it. That’s why we see a new superhero movie every week featuring essentially the same story line. I mean seriously, how many times can *insert superhero name here* save the world?
Screen Rant lists what it thinks are the 10 most annoying problems with blockbuster movies, and it’s pretty much the same mistakes across every major movie franchise. Great movies and terrible movies make mistakes in similar ways. But, if you throw enough explosions, audiences probably wouldn’t care enough.
Here’s their list:
- Fake-Out Deaths
- Trailers Spoiling Movies
- Final Installments Broken Up
- Money Grabbing Sequels
- Over-Reliance On CGI
- Generic Villains
- Lack Of Diversity
- Women As Eye Candy
- Dark, Realistic Blockbusters
- Subplots That Set Up Sequels
If you’re an aspiring filmmaker, director, or screenwriter, you may want to avoid these redundant  story lines. But, if you can’t beat them, you might as well join them.
