Jumanji

Jumanji is based on the children’s books Jumanji (1981) and Zathura (2002) and was written by author Chris Van Allsburg. The franchise is owned by Columbia Pictures, which is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures.
The franchise centers around the adventures of various people who find themselves in trouble while playing Jumanji. The game will either release dangerous elements in the real world or trap the players within the game. Ultimately, the only way to end the disruptions is to finish the game while overcoming the dangerous challenges.
The franchise includes four movies, including Jumanji, Zathura: A Space Adventure, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Jumanji: The Next Level. An animated series aired from 1996 to 1999. The first film became a cult classic, while fans and critics loved the three following movies. Currently, all the movies have earned $2 billion at the global box office.
