Dr. Ben Carson wants you to know that he’s taking his presidential race seriously. In fact, the GOP candidate, told Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin and John Heilemann on Friday that he doesn’t plan on appearing on Saturday Night Live during his campaign.
“I think the presidency of the United States is a very serious thing. I don’t even want to begin to put it in the lightness of comedy,” Carson said.
Dr. Ben Carson’s political strategy is completely different than Donald Trump’s campaign. Trump is heading to Saturday Night Live on November 7th. Even on the other side of the aisle, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton appeared on Saturday Night Live earlier this month.
