Vin Diesel recently announced that the ‘Fast & Furious franchise would honor Paul Walker with an official goodbye.
As the franchise draws to a close, Vin Diesel has promised fans an official farewell in honor of Paul Walker. Seven years ago, the Fast & Furious franchise paid tribute to its late actor by retiring his character in the seventh movie of the series. Fast X trailers have already teased us with flashbacks of Brian O’Conner, featuring clips from the fifth installment.
Speaking with Total Film, Vin Diesel declared that Brian would return to the current timeline of the film series before its conclusion in Fast 11. The actor praised the bold decision of Furious 7’s ending and said that he could not envision the saga concluding without giving a proper farewell to Brian O’Conner.
Universal Pictures has yet to decide if they will incorporate Cody and Caleb Walker (Paul’s brothers) into the film and cutting-edge computer-generated imagery to pay homage to Paul.
After its highly anticipated May 19th debut, Fast X is finally set to hit the big screens. Although no official date for Fast 11 has been announced yet, fans eagerly await an announcement soon!
