French ISIS Terror Attack Streamed on Facebook Live

Date:

Terrorists are now using Facebook to stream their terrorist attacks.

A Frenchman claiming allegiance to ISIS stabbed a policeman outside his home in Magnanville, a suburb of Paris on Tuesday, according to reports.

French officials said the man recorded the attack and broadcast it on Facebook Live.

The attacker is Larossi Abballa. Abballa was sentenced to prison for three years in 2013 for recruiting Jihadis. He was from a nearby suburb in France. After stabbing the policeman repeatedly, Abballa went inside where he found the policeman’s partner and their three-year-old son, according to Agence France Presse reports.

Loud detonations were heard at the scene as elite RAID police moved in following failed negotiations with the attacker.

Officers found the woman’s body after they stormed the house, and her attacker was killed during the assault, interior ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet said.

The couple’s toddler son was “in shock but unharmed,” a prosecutor added, saying the boy was receiving medical attention.

According to the AP, Aballa shared the video on Facebook Live where he talked about what he wanted to do with the little boy. In a statement, the ISIS-linked Amaq news agency said, “Islamic State fighter kills deputy chief of the police station in the city of Les Mureaux and his wife with blade weapons.”

This is not the first time something heinous as murder was broadcast on Facebook’s Facebook Live application. Several months ago, a man was shot while live-streaming on Facebook.
