‘Rambo 5’ may actually be hitting theaters in the near future starring Sylvester Stallone.
A German company has acquired the rights to Rambo and will have Sylvester Stallone (67) returning for a fifth Rambo movie against Mexican drug cartels. According to Splended Media, the Rambo 5 movie will be Sylvester Stallone’s version of ‘No Country for Old Men’.
With ‘Rambo V’ Sylvester Stallone returns in his iconic role. This time he goes up against a Mexican cartel. Stallone, who has also written the screenplay, describes the new Rambo as his version of ‘No Country for Old Men.’ Like the last film, ‘Rambo V’ is produced by Avi Lerner (“The Expendables 1-3?)
In 2008, Rambo was written and directed by Stallone and made $113 million worldwide on only a $50 million budget. The movie was described as “Heroes never die. They just reload,” which is catchy and relevant at the same time. Rambo 5 is going to be exactly what you think it will be and if the 2008 Rambo proved anything, people are still interested in seeing people and things getting blown up.
Sylvester Stallone is a dedicated actor. From living on the streets to cleaning Central Park Zoo cages, he has never given up on his dreams of becoming an actor. Now that he has reached the top he will not stop even if that means beating a idea to the ground. It is rumored that they are working on a ‘ Creed.
