Netflix’s Marvel series, Luke Cage, has just started filming in New York City this week, under the code name Tiara, according to OLV.
The third series in Marvel’s four series package for Netflix following Daredevil and Jessica Jones which is set to debut before the end of 2015. Luke Cage stars Mike Colter as “a wrongly accused man who, granted super-strength by a sabotaged experiment, escapes prison to become a superhero for hire.”
Luke Cage also stars Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi (aw, Juice!) and Rosario Dawson who will reprise her Daredevil role as Claire Temple, a romantic interest for Cage in the comic books. She will also appear in Jessica Jones, where Cage will make his debut.
According to On Location Vactions, filming is currently taking place at Broadway Stages in Brooklyn.
