Beyond monetary contributions, Netflix is directly assisting employees who have lost their homes in the disaster. The company is providing temporary housing and continues to double-match employee charitable contributions through its giving program.

“At this incredibly difficult time, our priority is to support our team and the broader community,” said co-CEO Ted Sarandos in a public statement. “I also want to express my deepest gratitude to the heroic firefighters and first responders who are risking their lives to save others. Strong winds forecasted for the coming days pose further threats, prompting a Particularly Dangerous Situation Red Flag Warning through midweek.

This disaster underscores the importance of collective action and community support. Contributions from organizations like Netflix play a critical role in helping affected communities recover and rebuild.
