Warner Bros. is currently working on a sequel to Suicide Squad 2.
According to reports Warner Bros. is already working on a Suicide Squad sequel that they plan on releasing in 2017. TheWrap reports that there’s a new WIll Smith and Joel Edgerton police thriller called Bright that will be directed by David Ayer, and that both David Ayer are slipping this movie into their schedules before the planned sequel to the DC supervillain movie Suicide Squad.
The anticipation for the Suicide Squad movie is at an all time high especially with the upcoming release of the Man of Steel sequel, Batman v Superman.
David Ayer will be back to direct the movie, and I imagine the majority of the cast will be back to reprise their roles as well.
Suicide Squad centers around a secret government agency who recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Suicide Squad stars Margot Robbie, Ben Affleck, Scott Eastwood and Will Smith.
