Adam Sandler’s ‘Ridiculous 6’ Called “Unwatchable”

Date:

Critics bash Adam Sandler’s new movie and call the new movie “unwatchable”.

Even though Netflix spent nearly $60 million into Ridiculous 6 and only released three days ago, it seems the streaming service is already trying to pretend like the movie never even happened.

Apparently, the movie looks thrown together with 3rd grade level jokes.

At the time of writing this article, The Ridiculous 6 has disappeared from my Netflix as well as other reported Netflix accounts and can’t even be found among several popular sections. Even though all of Netflix’s streaming movies are based upon carefully calculated algorithms, you would assume that Netflix would be pushing their latest deal with Adam Sandler even if it isn’t the type of movie you would watch.

The movie currently has a 4-star rating among viewers, but it also has a large amount of 1-star reviews.

‘Seems like they forgot to put the jokes in this one,’ one reads. ‘And the acting. And plot. Anything, really.’

For example, Variety’s Justin Chang wrote a scathing review of Ridiculous 6:

‘Why pay Sandler’s idiot shenanigans the compliment of anger? There’s nothing here so inspired as to warrant the audience’s contempt, much less its surprise.

‘Still, the MVP here is undoubtedly Ramon’s donkey, who gives 110% whether he’s fellating [Tyler] Lautner on screen (someone’s clearly on Team Jacob), or standing perfectly still while Steve Buscemi rubs ointment inside the beast’s rectum. Which, incidentally, would make a far more appropriate destination for The Ridiculous 6 than your Netflix queue.’

Netflix signed a major deal with Adam Sandler and is expected to produce three more movies with the comedian. However, if Ridiculous 6 is a sign of things to come, expect lawyers to draw up the contracts and break the landmark deal.
