Disney announces several upcoming “Star Wars” movie release dates.
Despite the fact “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will effectively end the Skywalker series, there will be more “Star Wars” movies coming soon, and now we have the official release dates from Disney.
The franchise will take a break in 2020, but the series is set to reappear in theaters in 2022, 2024, and 2026, respectively on the “pre-Christmas weekend” every other year. “Four forthcoming Avatar films, expanding the vibrant world of Pandora, will release on the pre-Christmas weekend every other year beginning in 2021,” according to the press release.
Moreover, “Avatar” and “Star Wars” will share the Christmas season for the time being, with assumptions that the final installment in the “Avatar” movies will be released. No plot or detailed information has been released so far.
In other entertainment news, casting directors are now casting Star Wars fans and paying $1,500.
