Karate Kid 2 is currently in pre-production as producers pick a new director.
It has been about four years since Jaden Smith starred in The Karate Kid reboot and producers are looking forward to a producing a sequel.
According to Variety, Sony has chosen Breck Eisner to direct The Karate Kid 2, which will also star child actor Jaden Smith.
Eisner previously directed hit movies such as Sahara and The Crazies. The previous Karate Kid feature film made $359 million worldwide, so many producers and executives expect this to be a huge success.
Jackie Chan is also expected to return for the action/drama.
