The actor who played Alfred in Batman v. Superman says the movie critics were right and the movie made no sense.
According to Jeremy Irons, the actor who played Alfred in Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, says the movie deserved to get bashed by movie critics.
The latest actor to play Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred, called the movie “very muddled” during an interview with Daily Mail magazine.
When asked about the terrible reviews, which resulted in a 27 percent approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, the Oscar Winning actor said, ““Deservedly so. I mean it took £800 million, so the kicking didn’t matter but it was sort of overstuffed.” Irons also laughed at the thought of one critic describing the movie as “the most incoherent blockbuster in years,” and then admitted, “It was very muddled.”
Irons did say that the next DC Comics movie will be better. “I think the next one will be simpler. The script is certainly a lot smaller, it’s more linear,” Irons said.
