‘Ghostbusters’ is now filming outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
Director Paul Feig announced today that he will begin shooting the new ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot tomorrow and now we know exactly where that shoot will be taking place.
According to OLV, Ghostbusters is going by the code name “Flapjack” and will start filming at the old Everett High School in Everett, Massachusetts. Filming will also take place for the next week.
Ghostbusters will take place in New York, like the original, but it is primarily being shot in Boston for budgetary reasons. The movie stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Chris Hemsworth has also just signed on to play the receptionist.
