According the Miami Film Commission, the new HBO TV , Ballers starring and executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, is ramping up production in South Beach.

Rob Corddry and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are set to star in the upcoming HBO dramedy pilot Ballers, which will be executive produced by Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Steve Levinson. Rob Corddry will play “former all-pro running back Spencer's (Johnson) boss, a financial advisor who tries really hard to fit in and who is confident but at interpreting social clues.”
