Donald Trump rejected meeting Chris Evans.
With Election Day only a few hours away, competition is at an all-time high between Republicans and Democrats. Currently, there is a massive push across Hollywood to get everyone out and vote.
Several celebrities have started using their platforms to help inform potential voters. Among them is Chris Evans, who launched A Starting Point, a bipartisan website, which focuses on informing people with accurate information. Evans does not add his personal views on the site, and he’s remained hopeful it will give voters more accurate information.
In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor was asked if he was ever invited to meet with President Trump. But, the actor says he was rejected twice.
You have to, right? You have to. I shouldn’t say it that way. No, I asked him, and he said no. He said no twice, and so it’s like ‘Well, I did my part.’
Chris Evans is not new to politics. He regularly uses his social media platform to share his political views. Recently, he joined Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris for a virtual fundraiser called Voters Assemble! The Cast of the Avengers United for Democracy and other Avengers, including Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, and Mark Ruffalo.
