‘Console Wars’: Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg to Make a Movie on the 90s Sega vs Nintendo Wars

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are set to make a movie about the 1990s fierce battle between Nintendo and Sega.

The two legendary duos will write the movie based upon the Blake Harris book, Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and The Battle That Defined a Generation.

The book centered on the corporate battle that helped turn video games into a billion dollar industry.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have collaborated on numerous occasions, and they are also set to direct the upcoming feature film, according to the Collider. They worked together on such films as Superbad, Pineapple Express and This is the End. They are also set to develop a pilot for a TV adaptation of the comic book character Preacher.

Sony has optioned to the movie rights to Console Wars even though the book will not be released until later 2014.
