Donald Glover has joined ‘Magic Mike XXL,’ and it looks as though the Magic Mike sequel is the Expendables of stripping.
Yesterday, it was announced that ex-NFL star, Michael Strahan would join the cast of ‘Magic Mike’ now, it is announced that Donald Glover will be sharing the stage with the Daytime host.
Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, ‘Magic Mike XXL’ finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel. But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them. On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways. Matthew McConaughey shocked the world when he announced that he would not rejoin the cast and crew of ‘Magic Mike’. But, it seems as though the producers are planning on filling his spot with a ton of other actors to keep things interesting and exciting.
Jada Pinkett Smith has also joined the cast and crew. In addition, Amber Heard, who will most likely play Channing Tatum’s love interest will also be on board.
